Brandon Public Library
Services | admin | May 6, 2010 at 11:31 amThe Brandon Public Library was founded in 1967 and is the largest public library of of Southwestern Manitoba and one of two libraries in Brandon. Library cards are free of charge and available to all residents of Brandon and the surrounding area, and allow you to access not only the books in our library but books can also be taken on loan from nearby libraries in Neepawa, Carberry and other local libraries. To receive your library card bring identification and proof of adress (such as a bank statement) to the library and within minutes you’ll be able to take out books.
The library also has free internet access for those with library cards, as well as a large collection of childrens movies and modern films that are avaiable to be loaned out free of charge.
The library is found downtown right underneath of the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba. Free parking is available in the downtown parking center which can be entered from 7th St. and Princess avenue.
