As far as I know, the area is open to hunting during hunting season. You have to be careful sometimes when walking around there.

Saw someone with what appeared to be a hunting rifle walking out of the trail system, heading towards the parking lot. Is hunting even legal there. With people hiking, biking, and walking through there it seems highly unlikely that it is.

I went to the Brandon hills yesterday and i have to say the trail system is really messed around. I got lost 5 times with my dog. But I did manage to see some deer crossing right infront of us, until my dog’s bark scared them off.
